As Kiedal Frignaz, Princess of Vampires, was struggling with finding a way past the massive charr forces in the Diessa Lowlands, she decided that it would be a more profitable endeavor to try a different route -- one that did not entail pitched battles with large groups of charr. She used the warp portal to the Nolani Academy, and there obtained the aid of Stefan the Warrior and the infamous Alesia the Healer. From there she headed northbound from the Academy, finding small, simple battles with some weak gargoyles. With Vrictus the wolf and Kiedal leading the way, the going was much less dangerous. As she saw the courthouse in the distance, she began to encounter small groups of three or four charr, which did not pose a threat anywhere in the immensity of a warband of 8 or 9 charr. Upon reaching the main road leading past the courthouse, a tougher battle ensued with a band of about 6 charr, but the Princess and her pet came out without serious injury. She found this passage to the courthouse a much simpler excursion than that of plowing her way through bands of 8 or 9 charr and felt the need to share this discovery with her friends back at the Isle of Meditation: those of the Dragonian Elite.
